Better single than sorry

14 Jul

Better single than sorryRecently a wing-girl lent this book to me after she found it at Vinnies. I have to admit, I’m not into self-help titles. I like to spend the precious amount of reading time I have on narratives. But I actually found the book quite enjoyable. Written by Jennifer Schefft of the Bachelor and Bachelorette fame, it was easy to read, generously sprinkled with real life examples and brimming with confidence and belief in self-worth.

If you’re feeling down about your single status, find yourself a copy and get reading. If nothing else, you’ll feel better knowing that at least your relationship decisions aren’t being analysed and criticised by the media like poor Jen’s.

Looks like a helpful read! I too don’t like admitting to self help books, but secretly love those ones with a heartfelt humorous look on life, such as ‘Between Boyfriends’ by Cindy Chupack and ‘Girls Guide to Hunting and Fishing’ by Melissa Bank.

Will keep an eye out for this title! (Oh ok I’ll just amazon it!)
